Our commitment

Estate planning is something families do at difficult moments, often later in life, and often while managing a disability of their own or a loved one's. Accessibility isn't a checkbox for us — it's part of doing this work honestly.

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the internationally recognized standards for making web content usable by people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What we've done

• Text and background colors are tested to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• The site can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and a "skip to main content" link.
• Headings follow a logical order so screen readers can move through the page structure.
• Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields have real, associated labels rather than placeholder text alone.
• Layouts reflow for small screens and for zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
• Animation is reduced automatically when your device is set to "reduce motion."
• Pages are tested with automated accessibility tooling, and we review manually as we make changes.

Known limitations

We'd rather tell you where we fall short than claim we're perfect.

• Third-party content. Some features — scheduling, embedded video, maps, and payment tools — are provided by outside companies. We choose vendors with accessibility in mind, but we don't control their code. If one of these blocks you, contact us and we will complete the task with you directly by phone, email, or in person.
• Documents. Some estate planning forms are prescribed by California statute or by a county recorder, and their layout is not ours to change. We can provide the contents in an accessible format on request.
• Ongoing work. As we add pages and offices, new content may briefly fall short of the standard before review. Reports from visitors are the fastest way we learn about problems.

Alternatives to using this website

Nothing on this site is the only way to work with us. Every service described here can be started and completed by phone, by video call, by mail, or in person at one of our offices. If the website isn't working for you, that is never a reason you can't become a client — call us and we'll take it from there.
